Wahahaha very long time never blog a full post le.
With a little time on hand now, i shall blog about our wonder special day.

School has been super hectic since the term began barely a week ago. We have lots of early morning classes and today was one of them. Advanced Control Systems at 9am sharp!!
(coz the lecturer says his time is in link to GPS time and very accurate!!)
After the sleepy 2 hours lecture we went to eat LAKSA STEAMBOAT!!

The restaurant is at Telok Blangah quite near if going from NUS. We saw this restaurant yesterday when we were taking Bus 10 to Vivocity. I knew of this restaurant coz it was featured on tv before. PPK as usual was blur blur de. At first I told her it was a laksa steamboat restaurant. No reaction. Wierd. Then I say its steamboat but the soup is laksa soup. Finally PPK understood and her eyes immediately lit up!! so funny wahahaha =)) So we decided to come and eat today.

We took bus 10 and PPK was as usual addicted to playing the Mahjong game on PSP.


in a short while we reached the restaurant.
The restaurant was empty when we arrived as it was still very early (around 12 noon).
The first thing PPK noticed was the floor mat at the entrance coz it wrote '星期四 欢迎观临' and PPK was stunned


PPK: 'Huh then they everyday change their floor mat ar'
PPG: 'Yalor, should be la.'

The staffs were also having their lunch. (which makes it a little irritating coz nobody was serving us) But anyway we ordered the mixed soup of laksa and chicken and regreted it later coz we found out that the laksa soup is so much nicer. In the end the chicken soup was used to clean and sterilize our chopsticks wahahahaha =))


The price was rather expensive but you pay the price listed on the menu. No additional GST or service charge. Overall the food is not bad but still on the average side. PPK aka Laksa Expert says the laksa soup not as fragrant as the one sold at Arts Canteen. Another thing is they dun accept any cards, no visa, master, amex,NETS....ONLY CASH! I had to go to the petrol station to draw money coz i din have enough.
Yet another new food outing for us on our special day!!
