Tough times for a man utd fan

It is really tough being a man utd fan these days. Too many downs these 2 months. Yes the past season has gone well. Man utd won the charity shield, world club champions, league cup winners and premier league champions for the third consecutive season. But we could forget the night at rome where united were simply outclassed. That one game ends the season on a very bitter note.

Today news filtered in that man utd have accepted an 80million pound bid for cristiano ronaldo. Although this move has been ongoing for more than a year, it is still a big disappointment. To be very frank united is losing a very important player who score lots of goals. Ronaldo will follow the steps of david beckham and ruud van nistelrooy whom both moved to real madrid. The difference is that this time round man utd is selling a player whom we want to keep. Both beckham and van nistelrooy had fallen out of favour when they left united. This could most probably be the effect of the world economic crisis which have a big impact on the debt incurred by united owners, the glazer family.

There is also the carlos tevez saga. United seems likely to lose another talented striker in tevez. The goalkeeping is also an area of concern as edwin van der sar is reaching the end of his career as well as gary neville, paul scholes and ryan giggs.

Hopefully united can bring in 2 or 3 more big name players and when the season starts we can continue on our winning ways.

Finally back to posting on the blog. Even though I link the blog to my mobile phone I did not have the time to post in such a tightly packed semester haha.

Semester is over holidays are finally here. Could not get a job but my holiday is already packed!! Firstly I got the bombardier project to research on mrt trains. Then I have started to get involved in setting up a blogshop. Finally I plan to exercise!! Wahahaha :)
