There exist this fine area between dreams and reality - in-between-dreams. We are constantly drifting in and out of dreams and reality.......

天天想你
Back to my oldies collection...this is one of my favourite....
张雨生 was the Jay Chou of the late 80s and early 90s....
A very talented yet humble singer...he seldom does publicity for his albums, yet they sell like hotcakes..only when his equally talented disciple cuts her first album did he make a rare appearance on a variety show, long xiong hu di, hosted by the ever popular Zhang Fei and Fei Yu Qing...
天天想你 was sang in such a special tone that it evokes deep feelings every time i listen to it, more strongly so this year....
Porky lao po was at the pub, labyrinth, where we went out together for the first time...
It sets me thinking of how it was during the start of the year when i could not get you out of my mind...i often listen to this song, especially late at nite, and how wonderfully it described my feeling for you...
当我徘徊在深夜
你在我心田...
天天想你天天问自己
到什么时候才能告诉你
天天想你天天守住一颗心
把我最好的爱留给你
Now you are by my side, this song reminds me how much you meant to me, the feelings even before we got together...
and i cherish you even more...
Really really looking forward to Sunday =))
I Love You Darling,
everlastingly love you...

时间不停的走远走远
The past is only for reminiscing...
Reality is cruel, time waits for no one...
As i grow older, I have learn to cherish things and people around me...
as well as see things in a broader perspective...
世界不断的改变改变
The World is ever changing but my love for you remains the same...
juz wan to say a simple...
I Love You porky lao po
Thank you for holding my hand
it is such a blessing to be able to hold yours as well =))

Part 2: Ah Bui remembering the past
…星际大战没有续集倒是弄了个首部曲…
Still remember star wars episode 1 I was only in secondary school…the first time I really get hooked to star wars, subsequently episodes 2 and 3 are now a distant memory
...打哥大越来越小世界越来越吵…手机却越卖越好...
Wahahaha when I was schooling handphones is such a luxury good, during those good old days one would be very proud to have owned a pager!! I got my first handphone only in JC1.. Amazing lolx….
...歌星越来越多cd越做越好…唱片却越卖越少...
Those days were the peak of piracy!! They were everywhere..this ah bui kid would always chiong those cheap cds wahahahaha…OOPS!! Lolx…
...乔丹不再飞好久不见张德培...
2 of the most charismatic sportsmen of the late 80s and early 90s…Micheal Jordan was the god of NBA and Michael Chang was the darling tennis ace every one admired…they have since long retired…
...老虎伍兹今年才25岁...
Current World number 1 Tiger Woods was so young then when he won his first major and he was on the sports frontpage for so many times…this is also the time when golf was getting popular and parents send their kids for golf lessons hoping to turn their child into someone special like Woods…
This Ah Bui is a very sentimental creature filled with emotions and often likes to reminisce about the past. This morning heard a long lost song on his ipork, titled “改变1995” by written and sang 黄舒骏., one of the trio of judges on Happy Sunday.
This song is talking about a review of the past by Huang…so many things and scenes he mentioned was once so familiar to me but had almost been forgotten…
…邓丽君也跟我们说再见...
…英国少了一位黛安娜王妃…
…歌坛出了一个张惠妹…
王菲变王靖雯又变回王菲…
铁达尼骗了全世界的眼泪…
* Suddenly want to say I Love You Porky lao po

(to be continued)
Pantip Plaza
Erawan Shrine
Finally, we made our way to Erawan Shrine. The shrine is really very popular and it is filled with lots of people (and it’s a weekday afternoon!!! amazing). Only me and maria offered prayers (as the other 2 lost a little blood and they “pan tang” cannot pray =P). Was a bit lost but the cleber fatty observed how others prayed and followed =))
Back to JJ mall
We went back to JJ Mall to see if there were any things we wanted to buy. Shopped for some time and we stopped at a shop where the girls saw everything they liked lolx...tink the shop keeper
siam square
mbk dinner
chinatown
MBK
unknown shopping platform beside mbk
mbk dinner ice cream
After the tiring shopping, its back to MBK for dinner. This time we went to the food court at level 6. Food is cheap and tasty!! We return here numerous times after this. Tom yum soup tasted very nice. Not too sour and not too spicy!! Porky lao po love it to the bits (always muz finish till the last drop wahahah!!)
Healthland massage
Yawnzzz...
Agreed to wake up and meet for breakfast at 9am but but but...we lai chuang and met for breakfast at 9.45am instead lolx...this sets the tone for the rest of the trip wahahaha!! We went to the PJ "kopitiam" and every one had a task without much discussion!! amazing lolx...
Sheryl immediately went to toast bread (i tink its becoz of her love for baking things), meifang took sausages, ham, eggs, hashbrowns, frenchtoast (muz have maple syrup one!!),
porky lao po took all the veges ("woo their vege all taste soooo nice" lolx) and I took the fried rice (really very nice de!!) And every morning without fail we did this for the rest of our trip!!
Simply amazing, the 4 of us make such a good travel kakis wahahah..
chatuchak
Really huge market selling lots of stuff. The taxi driver left us off at one area selling marine products. Many fishes were being sold. We aimlessly ventured around and ended up at some animal section where many chickens were making a big din. Reminds me of my kampong days =)
Then we realise that the section we are going to is actually called the weekend market. Finally with the help of a friendly security guard, we found our place. Condition at the market was hot and humid. I was sweating thru-out but it was not as bad as we had expected. Stalls there were generally selling the same stuffs that we had seen at Platinum or MBK. Bought a few things here and there. Stall vendors are generally very friendly. Porky lao po even joked and laughed wif one of them and got a discount of 4 baht (SGD 0.18)!!! lolx...
JJ mall
As we are deciding to go back, we saw a mall and went inside to enjoy the air-con. And wad a find this turns out to be. Inside the mall there are lots of shops similar to Chatuchak weekend market only difference is that this is in fully air-conditioned environment. We spent hours inside the mall and only decided to leave coz one ah bui was tired & hungry =P
MBK
Wahahaha I have been looking forward to this trip for ages coz im going wif my darling porky lao po!! The day finally arrived. Went to fetch lao po then proceeded to budget terminal where we met up wif sheryl and meifang. We are taking Tiger Airways. The terminal itself is very bare and simple. We even have to go onto the tarmac and board the plane using stair!!! Amazing lolx...
The plane itself is very small, seats are also very cramp. But for the price we are paying, we cant complain. The flight took two hours and it flown by quite quickly. Before we know it we have arrived in Bangkok!!
My first impression of Suvarnabhumi Airport is kind of lousy. Being a new international airport, it somehow lacks the awe of Changi Airport or HKIA. Everywhere seems a bit too dim, again very unlike the brightly lit Changi and HKIA. Airport is a little empty as well, might be becoz its too big lolx...but anyway custom clearance was very fast, much faster than i had expected.
*the custom officer said porky lao po is very pretty and ask me to help him find one wahahaha!!
Then we proceed to look for a cab. One cockster priced his services at 900Baht!!!. Kick him to jurong!! (in this case phuket coz in thailand lolx.) We join the queue for the official airport cab and cost 450Baht including highway toll, which is quite ok la. The trip to hotel took less than an hour and we arrived at PJ Watergate. Very ulu hotel but rooms and services were surprisingly very acceptable. Porky lao po and I got a room at a strategic location!! (Near the stairs wahahah) After putting down our lugguage, its time to explore!!
After some orientation, we manage to walk to Central World. As we were all so hungry we went looking for food. Went to the 'foodcourt' at Zen. Food is not bad and price is ok. Btw Central World was so empty (in terms of shoppers) and I commented that there are more salesperson than shoppers lolx....(which is true!!) After Central World, we headed to Platinum Mall.
Like all other shopping centres in Bangkok, Platinum Mall is huge with many shops selling clothes (mostly for female). We spent a few hours shopping before heading back to hotel to put down our purchases.
Its dinner time and we decided to go for seafood meifang's friend recommended. One cock taxi driver took us to a wrong place. Some P-dunno wad dunno wad-thai Seafood. We sat down and realised something is not right. Then we walked straight out. After some deliberation, took a tuk-tuk taxi which bring us to the right place. The food as Kwang Seafood taste great. We ordered tom yum soup, steamed fish, black pepper crab, butter prawns, and one thai kor guay which is not kor!! lolx...The guy who took our order was very friendly., thumbs up, will visit this restaurant again next time in bangkok.
After dinner, we went to Suan Lum nite market. The market is huge and divided into many sections. However there were not much to buy as prices were relatively steep. Went back to hotel aat ard 12 and turn in for the nite zzzzzzzzzzzz.......
*Yeah!! first time porky lao po really kiss me goodnite..feel so xing fu!!
and porky lao po said first time we are both so clean wahahaha =)
